1. Nature of the Service
Fairborn Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public rolls, record indexes, directory collections, and official access paths in Fairborn, Greene County, and Ohio. It does not host government records and is not affiliated with any government office, court, library, archive, or records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use the service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it or material reached through it to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm another person.
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order.
- Commit identity theft, fraud, or another unlawful act.
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions about credit, employment, tenant screening, or insurance.
- Scrape, copy, or republish the service at scale.
- Interfere with the service’s operation, security, or availability.
3. Consumer Reporting Notice
We are not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Neither this service nor material returned through a linked tool is a consumer report. It may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.
4. External Services
Government portals, libraries, archive systems, and sponsored tools have separate terms, access conditions, data practices, fees, and availability. We do not control their content, results, records, prices, or operations.
5. No Warranties
The service is offered as is and as available. We make no warranty that content, links, collection descriptions, office details, or external results are complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service or a linked resource, including reliance on a record or search result.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the operators harmless from claims, losses, demands, or reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a brief attributed excerpt is permitted. Republishing full pages or systematically copying the content is not permitted.
9. Changes to Terms
Terms may be revised by posting a new version here. Continued use after the effective revision means acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Access Restrictions
We may limit or block access, without notice, when a user violates these terms, creates a security risk, or abuses the service or linked search functions.
11. Ohio Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Ohio’s Public Records Act, R.C. 149.43, governs government-record access, redaction, and request practices where it applies; it does not make this private reference a custodian of those records.
12. Severability
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent allowed by law.
